programs and others.
Q.
Q. Can I import data obtained from a coding service bureau?
A.
Yes. Data is easily imported into WinForce using industry standard
file formats such as comma separated values (csv) files. Virtually any
basic record information, including the full-text of documents, can be
captured by WinForce users or coding service bureaus and seamlessly
imported into the program.
Q.
How do I produce custom reports?
A.
Custom reports can be produced using most report writers. Using
Seagate Crystal Reports allows the user to place a link to the custom
report directly into the Custom Reports selection menu.
In addition, WinForce Technologies offers custom report writing
services for a nominal fee.
Q.
Q. How much time does it take to input the basic information for
each item?
A.
Based on data compiled from current WinForce users, it takes less
than 60-seconds per document to capture the basic information. Many WinForce
users contract with service bureaus to perform the scanning and
coding functions for large jobs.
Q.
Q. Are the scanning and OCR functions performed within the WinForce application?
A.
No, WinForce does not perform the scanning and OCR functions.
However, because WinForce uses industry standard file formats such as
TIFF, JPG, GIF, BMP and TXT scanned images and OCR text can be produced
by virtually any existing program or system.
This allows WinForce users the ability to use their current
scanning tools and adopt superior solutions as they hit the market.
Q.
Do I need a WinForce license for each person that uses the
program or can I share a license with multiple people in my office?
WinForce
is licensed per user. This requires each person who will
be using WinForce at any time, to have a license. WinForce is licensed on
a concurrent user basis. Site licenses are available for large
installations.
